		<description>Rich, You are so right about this.   I called them up one night to get a quote.   I carry limits of $$500,000.    The maximum GEICO would offer me was $100,000 per person/ $300,000 per accident for bodily injury and $50,000 for property damage.    The rep then went on to tell me I&#039;d never need that much coverage anyway.   How could that person predict whether or not I&#039;d ever be sued for a million dollars?    How dare that person, for the sake of making a sale, expose my house, my savings and all of my other assets to these infinitely greedy trial attorneys?

I was talking to a friend of mine who works in management at an insurance company based in upstate NY recently and he told me that many of the &quot;real&quot; insurance companies are thinking of filing a class action againt GEICO because their underinsured motorist losses have skyrocketed due to all these &quot;direct&quot; insurance customers having minimal coverage.

This woman, &quot;Flo&quot; who works for Progressive is another classic example of this.    When she goes on TV, bats her pretty little eyes, and tells people to &quot;name their own price&quot; she is in effect telling them to reduce coverages to get the premium to where they want it.   An uneducated and unsuspecting consumer who doesn&#039;t understand the need for adequate liability limits is indeed setting themselves up for bankruptcy.

People need trusted advisors like you or me when they make these very important financial decisions.
